Collectors edition release date

Okay I’m alittle confused here, the collectors edition comes with 2 early access to the game, but I heard that companies send out pre ordered games on the release date, so what is Bethesda going to send out the game 2 days before the release date because that kinda defeats the whole purpose of the 2 day early access.
