Regarding closure of my SBI Simply Save card.

I have put an request to close my above card. After few days and final confirmation on call from their side they said it'll be closed by x date. I received noc on email but my query is that it still shows in the app although when I try something it says that the card is blocked. Does this means it's closed permanently or not. How do I make sure.
