Is SBI Cashback really the best CB card?
Edit : After hearing various explanation, I am going ahead to apply for it, will likely close the Axis FK too.
I have Swiggy HDFC(LTF) and Fk Axis(paid). They cover almost 90% of the ecommerce transactions namely- FK(preferred), Amazon, Swiggy, Myntra, Zomato, Cleartrip. I have observed people in this sub claiming that SBI CB is the best Cashback card and we should ditch other CB cards and keep just SBI CB.
I question why??
AFAIK, SBI CB can't be used during festive Sales. A big downside. FK Axis can be used to get festive deal + 5% CB. Same goes for Apay ICICI(that's LTF too)
SBI CB card has 1000+ annual fee. I get that if utilized well, this fee is nominal, but I have seen people going above and beyond to get a waiver here, so it does hurt a few(if not all).
SBI CB has a cap on maximum CB per month, please correct me if wrong. Fk Axis doesn't have that(at least on FK). Same goes for Apay ICICI.
SBI CB can't guarantee 5% on online spends because of MCC randomness. It's mostly hit but when it's a miss, it hurts. Fk Axis or Apay ICICI on their platforms guarantee 5%.
Please guide me as to what am I missing in assessing this card?
