Bitcoin question !

My boy sent me $150 to my cashapp in Btc, but I didn't have my btc wallet setup/verified so sent that up a few hours after he sent the funds, so will it still hit my account or did I fuck up by not already having my shit setup beforehand, I didn't know he was going to send it through cashapp I would set that up before lol but I'm able to buy and send btc now, so will I receive what he sent? is it just slow to send btc on cashapp it's been about 24 hours, I appreciate any responses hope you all are doing well.
