Looking for a pair of bookshelf speakers < $1k

Hello all, I hope it's fair to ask this here. I read the community guidelines and think so. Apologies if not.

I'm looking to upgrade my setup with a pair of bookshelf speakers and it's hard to know what will work in my setup. We don't have a dedicated media room but rather our large primary living area that has to do it all - television, gaming, ambient music for entertainment, and dedicated music listening. The living room opens into the kitchen and dining area. We currently have a center channel speaker and subwoofer but the rest of our 7.1 speakers are in the ceiling (a concession for asthetics). As I have gotten more into vinyl and dedicated music listening, I'd like to upgrade the experience with some better front speakers for stereo listening. This would be essentially mid field listening.

We have limited space for the speakers due to room layout. Unfortunately the subwoofer has to sit to the side of the media credenza. That makes floor standing speakers impractical, so I think I'll need to mount bookshelf speakers to either side of the credenza (see pictures). I'm looking for speakers that will be good for stereo listening for vinyl but also mesh with the rest of the system (7.1) for gaming and movies. Budget is < $1000 for the pair. They also have to look good enough for my wife ;)

Current system is: - Denon AVR X4700H receiver - SVS - 12" 550W Powered Subwoofer - Model: SB-2000 PRO - Polk Signature Elite ES35 Slim Center Channel Speaker - Sonance - MAG Series 6-1/2" 2-Way In-Ceiling Speakers - kenwood KD-2055 turntable with Ortofon Blue cartridge

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I've been looking at these: Q Acoustics 5010 or 5020 Polk Audio Signature Elite ES20 Polk Audio Reserve R200 JBL L52 classic

One consideration is that I don't want to overspend on speakers if my other components won't let the speakers sound better than cheaper alternatives.
