was scrolling thru my camera roll & came across this screenshot i’d fully forgotten. now i gotta wonder if some version of the expression “got a flowery dick & plenty of bees” has ever crossed Emil’s Grecian lips, per no. 1.
can any trilly baes fluent in other languages confirm or deny the authenticity of such colorful turns of phrase?
i only took a few years of French in high school, & our textbook instructed us that “my little cabbage” (mon petit chou) was a term of affection to be used with a sweetheart, which i found funny. so in the ensuing years whenever i’ve crossed paths with native speakers, i’ve often asked them whether the phrase is actually used irl… & have resoundingly been told no with a chuckle.
