Intermittent Electrical Problem Help
I have an intermittent electrical problem in my car which I believe is likely related to the form of a bad ground on the car. My main symptoms are my radio shutting off and restarting several times at random points while I’m driving, and for some reason certain actions could cause it to shut off but not consistently; such as pressing the brakes, turning my hazards on, high beams, AC, e-fan, etc, unless it does so completely randomly. Today while driving it shut off randomly, and at the same time my entire gauge cluster turned off for a split second and my tachometer when down to 0 and then shot back up to the RPMs I was driving at. My battery is a year old and seems perfectly healthy, shows 14V when driving. I believe it’s some sort of electrical connection issue somewhere but I don’t know where to even start as this issue is so peculiar. If anyone has any suggestions let me know before I take this thing to a shop or electrician. Thanks.
