Ladies who shave their face , please help your girl here

Hi , I'm 22 and I have a good growth of hair on my body and face too . I usually use threading for my facial hair but it causes swelling on my upper lips as my hair have a thick texture . Same with face wax . It takes me atleast 5 days to get rid of the swelling . I was thinking of trying face razors but am a bit skeptical about the same . I already have thick hair , i don't want it to get thicker or something (due to certain people saying it gets thicker after you use razor even once) . Anyone here who has tried , please help me out with it . Also if anyone can suggest some good face razors?Thankyou in advance!!!
