thoughts on anime club?

I want to start an anime club in my highschool. What are your thoughts on it? I'm really into anime but I'm worried it might look childish or bad on college applications.

Also, for people who have been in anime clubs, what do y'all do in there? Any tips on how to make anime clubs fun? Thanks!!
