Why is ChatGPT straight up wrong sometimes?

Like ChatGPT is hailed as this incredible and powerful tool that can teach you better than any teacher could but when I input questions it genuinely just gets them wrong sometimes, specifically in Stats and Calculus. Anyone else feel the same?
